In today’s world, you can look just about anywhere and see at least one person talking on a cell phone; sadly, the road is no exception. More and more drivers are taking to the roads with cell phones to their ears; as a result these drivers are causing a greater risk for automobile accidents. Of course, we all know the consequence of increased automobile accidents – increased automotive insurance.

Despite the statistics conveying the relationship between drivers using cell phones and a percentage of automobile accidents, many drivers continue to chat while driving, and many of those drivers will be involved with another driver who is using a cell phone will driving. When you’re involved in an automotive accident, regardless of the cause, your automotive insurance rates usually increase. If you are at fault and it’s determined you were using a cell phone at the time of the accident? Let’s just say your automotive insurance company won’t be happy.

If you are one of the drivers who likes to gossip using your cell phone while driving, stop. Nothing is so important that you must risk your life, and the lives of others, in order to tell your best friend, your significant other, or your sister or brother. Even if you’re a parent and, while on your way home from work, remember you must tell your spouse to pick up the kids from school – pull over.

If you are a parent with teens who are driving, or almost ready to drive, instill the responsible habit of not using a cell phone while driving. They are even less experienced drivers than their elders, and don’t need the extra distraction.

Remember, practicing the safe driving habit of not using a cell phone will driving will not only help you lower, or keep low, your automotive insurance rates, but it will also help you keep yourself, and others, from being seriously injured and even killed.

New product development and innovation is much more difficult and time consuming than most other business activities. Automotive rapid prototyping greatly enhances learning speed and reduces the risk of new automotive parts development.

Historically, the automotive industry has been using rapid prototyping as an important tool in the automotive parts design process. The extremely fast-paced automotive design cycles require an extremely fast prototyping system which can produce car parts fast and inexpensively.

The main objective of automotive prototyping is to learn quickly: how a new automotive product behaves in its natural working environment, before transferring the prototype to the production line. Many times, mistakes are learned only after a new automotive part is launched. This is the main explanation for poor automotive parts design, from product mismatch, poor engineering and function or finish, and overpriced production. In order to accelerate the learning curve, before these costly automotive prototyping mistakes are made, one must accelerate and facilitate feedback loops from tests in the lab and market trials.

Automotive Manufacturing Technologies

Working with an assortment of rapid prototyping equipment, automotive prototyping engineers utilize the most advanced 3D printers, in their quest for perfect form, function and utility. Working in advanced manufacturing centers, the automotive engineers use the technology to verify what they are doing, and, equally important, to save tremendous amounts of time, and money.

Automotive Rapid Prototyping Compresses Development Time

The advantages of using 3D rapid prototyping model creation versus viewing a cad/cam model on a computer screen are palpable. Automotive parts engineers get together discuss the pros and cons of a rapidly produced automotive parts model and discuss the pros and cons of the design, as they pass it around, twisting and viewing the prototype, and decide if that is what they had in mind. This way, problems get solved up front, before going to the assembly line! Once determined that the automotive prototype design is a go, the model can then be sent to a die maker.

Automotive Prototyping and the Die Maker Process

The die maker cannot use model to make the die, but because they have it in their hand and can look at it and feel it, they can determine where the parting lines will be and exactly how much steel they will need to produce it. The timing of the die process is greatly compressed.

Examples of Automotive Rapid Prototype Parts

· Car Engine parts

· Engine castings and parts

· Auto Body Components

· Auto Mechanical parts

· Car Dashboards

· Car Handles and Knobs

· Car Trim parts

Fail first Paradox in Automotive Rapid Prototyping

The automotive rapid prototyping paradox is to fail earlier rather than later. By failing earlier, the design engineers surprisingly succeed in accelerating the project; this greatly reduces development cost risk. By considering all automotive prototype failures as learning experiments, the engineer has much less stress, knowing that they are practicing the old adage, that success comes from ninety-nine percent failure and introspection.

Auto liability insurance is a legal term that refers to the responsibility a person has for someone else’s loss or injury. Questions about car liability are typically settled in courts, and settlements can run into several thousands of dollars. So having an auto insurance policy with liability quote to protect you is a good idea.

Two Kinds of Automobile Liability Insurance Coverage

Commercial auto liability insurance is an important safeguard for your car. If you or an employee is sued following a serious accident, car liability insurance protects your company’s assets. Auto liability insurance policies have limits. The limit is the total amount of money the policy will pay out to cover you. There are two different kinds of liability auto policies:

Combined Single Limit policies cover damage to property and bodily injury in one policy.

Split Limit policies have separate amounts of coverage for property damage and bodily injury.

The coverage for bodily injury is also often split. You can get coverage on a maximum payment per person or maximum payment per accident basis.

Usually, the higher the limit on general liability insurance policy, the more that policy will cost you. So before you buying a liability policy, consider how much protection you need. And think about how much you can afford. Like buying any other insurance policy, you want to find a balance between your car insurance coverage needs and your budget.

Business Auto Liability Insurance is Required in Most States

Business auto liability insurance covers the financial responsibility if you or an employee is at fault in a traffic accident and people are injured or property is damaged. A minimum amount of automotive liability insurance (or proof of financial responsibility) is required in most states. Some states also require underinsured motorist and uninsured motorist coverage to protect you when the other driver at fault is unable to pay the total cost. By the way, collision and comprehensive car insurance coverage is often optional.

Is minimum commercial automobile liability coverage enough?

Minimum required auto insurance coverage varies by state, and typically is the same for both personal and commercial car liability insurance policies. Many companies opt for coverage above the minimal levels required by many states. What’s the reason? If an injured party chooses to sue for a larger amount than is covered by a minimal policy, it could seriously threaten many small businesses.

Anderson Cooper story about questionable auto insurance practices.
Help answer the question about Automotive insurance
I would like socialized automotive insurance and downtown parking…can I get an amen from the dems?
I've been paying into auto insurance forever now, and I've never got anything except rate hikes. My government mandates that I have drivers insurance, and it's very expensive…in fact, I think it prevents the poor from driving legally.

Also, the cost of parking is very expensive too. Can we socialize parking, so that citizens can park downtown and not be charged additional fees. We don't want to make a poor family of 5 driving a Yugo choose between eating that day, or parking, do we?

When going through the process of searching for cheap automotive insurance quote, there is an easy process that you can go through online that will assist you in finding the right company for your needs. When looking online for car insurance, there are many ways you can go about getting the quotes you want. As I mentioned above, you can use a comparison website that will allow you to receive different quotes from different companies at the same time and you are only required to enter your details once. If you would prefer not to use this type of service, you can go to each website of the insurance company that you want a quote from and fill out their individual forms to receive your quote. This process allows you to choose all the companies that you receive the quotes from.

Receiving Automobile Insurance Quotes Online

Once you have decided which way you want to receive your direct auto insurance quotes online, there are some things to keep in mind. When going to individual websites to ask for quotes, make sure that you enter the same details about yourself on each form. This will help ensure that you receive accurate quotes on the same amount of coverage from each company. You will need to make sure you are honest about your driving history and credit report, as if you are not, this will come out eventually and cause an increase in the amounts you were quoted. The insurance companies will verify this information. There is no way to get around this.

When you are using the online portion of an general auto insurance company, you always have the option of calling their main number to speak with someone to get all your questions answered. If you have doubts or any type of question, it is important to contact them to clear it up. Some auto insurance companies will offer online chat to an insurance agent. This can be helpful when looking for insurance as you can get your questions answered or get help walking through the detail process of the form. The main page of the site should tell you if they offer online chat and if it is available at that moment in time or not.

Don't they realize they will be indebted so severely to the government that any type of profits they get from them will be so highly regulated as to cut down on production regardless? Do they not read up on "conspiracy theories" or the popularly quoted sayings of the founding fathers, to paraphrase: people love servitude, not only that but they beg for it.

Many who are interested in getting an education from an automotive school are unsure about the job security an automotive career can offer. There are a wide variety of jobs available to graduates of automotive school programs. Because car ownership and usage has only expanded in the past few decades, and continues to increase dramatically by the year, anyone with an automotive background is virtually assured a job.

Oil and lube technicians
Cars require a lot of regular maintenance, such as oil changes, a service that each car owner will need done every three months or less. As a result, there are many oil and lube shops that provide these services. The tight time schedule many of these shops adhere to ensures plenty of jobs for technicians who have the knowledge and experience to perform these tasks quickly and easily. Any graduate of an automotive school will be able to easily defeat the competition for these positions.

Automotive technicians
Automotive technicians are often hired by shops that provide more services than oil changes, air filter replacements, and other simple maintenance. Automotive technicians may be hired to mount and dismount tires, balance wheels, change brake pads, and perform tune ups, in addition to changing the fluids and filters in cars.

Mechanics
Mechanics tend to have more responsibilities than technicians, therefore requiring more education and experience. Mechanics may do all of the jobs often assigned to automotive technicians, but they also perform more complex repairs. Important components, such as shocks and struts, drive shafts, alternators, starters, etc. are usually replaced by mechanics. Additionally, more complex or critical maintenance tasks, such as readjusting the valve clearance in an engine, replacing the timing belt, and performing other engine work, are done by mechanics. Any good automotive school will provide the education and hands-on training necessary to perform maintenance of this caliber.

Master mechanics
The title of master mechanic is one any automotive school graduate would be proud to hold. Many schools include more advanced degree programs, providing the education and hands-on training necessary to be a master mechanic. Master mechanics can find jobs at almost any high quality automotive shop, garage, or dealership maintenance department. Naturally, the pay for a master mechanic position is considerably higher than that of an automotive technician or mechanic.

Auto body and paint specialists
Most have noticed the increased number of accidents you see on the road today. Someone has to repair all of that damage. Auto body and paint specialists are therefore in quite high demand. Auto body technicians are responsible for replacing exterior body parts and repairing the damage caused in accidents. Paint technicians paint the car once the damage has been repaired and the necessary parts replaced.

Parts sales people
There are, of course, the brave car owners who attempt to keep up on their cars’ maintenance and repairs on their own. Therefore, there are also many parts stores and dealership parts departments to keep up with this demand. Graduates of automotive school programs make great additions to parts sales teams, because they have the ability to do more than just look up a part number and grab the part off the shelf: they can discuss problems with the customers, try to help diagnose, and tackle the problems that occur when parts catalogues are wrong and computers fail. Most part sales departments like to have at least one very knowledgeable person on their team.

Automotive sales people
Just as with parts sales, there isn’t a better person to sell a car than someone who knows a lot about them. If you have an education from a good automotive school and you have a knack for selling just about anything, you will always be guaranteed a job at any car dealership. Dealerships love to have knowledgeable, smooth-talking salespeople on their team. A person to represent the dealership’s interests and also knows cars inside and out.

Automotive manufacturing
There are more and more cars on the road every year. Although there are many unskilled positions in automotive manufacturing, there are also many openings for people who know a lot about cars. An automotive degree will give you the knowledge and experience necessary to quickly climb the ladders in automotive manufacturing.

Automotive design and engineering
Cars change more than their looks each year. Technology is constantly making them better, faster, and more reliable. One of the most prestigious jobs in the automotive world is to be one of the concept designers or engineers who make those new cars possible. Designers and engineers must have a solid understanding of automotive theory, as well as engineering practices. This advanced education begins at a good automotive school.

These are only a few of the many jobs available to automotive school graduates. The automotive industry is a demanding field that includes many different positions, from the creation and sales of brand new cars, to the upkeep and repair of cars that are currently in use. An automotive degree will ensure that you always have a place in this exciting and constantly expanding industry.

When we hear the words ‘automotive reviews’ we think of comparative tests, investigations, technical details, advantages and disadvantages of a particular car model. People are most interested in automotive reviews when they are about to purchase a vehicle. This is an important decision for the potential buyer since the car may remain in his/her possession for many years. Actually, statistics say that the purchase of a car is the second largest expense for many people. In developing countries, the situation is even worse than that, as choosing a certain car is sometimes a life commitment for those people. Under these circumstances, automotive reviews are a must. No automobile is to be purchased without having consulted its review. Automotive reviews are useful for all kinds of customers, from those are simply interested in buying a cheap car with good gas mileage to those who are mostly interested in design and comfort. To all these people the purchase of a car may appear as a very challenging experience, since the auto market is vast and the lack of experience can prove to be a serious drawback. Needless to say all those interested in purchasing a car should follow the latest automotive news in order to keep up with what is new in this vast and complicated area. However, automotive reviews cannot be found on television every day, nor do they appear in newspapers. Moreover, specialized media, such as auto magazines, which are issued weekly or monthly, may not give the automotive reviews you need when you need them. Therefore, a good source of accurate and reliable automotive reviews is the Internet. Automotive blogs are full of information with and about cars and many related topics. In addition, you get more than statistics or official figures, because people like you have posted their comments or facts from personal experience on those car blogs. Sometimes this beats all automotive reviews.

As we have stated before, there are many sources of automotive news and reviews. The problem is that some of them may not be as reliable as we think and this can be damaging to the consumer. There are times when the interests of certain companies stand in the way of giving consumers honest advice. A good share of criticism is not a must have for automotive reviews. However, skeptical journalism is proof that the consumer’ s best interest is at the top of the priority list. Auto magazines present a lot of automotive reviews because that’s their line of work, but they will rarely point out possible flaws of automobiles. Everyone will agree that in the auto magazines or TV shows, the automotive reviews sound a little too good to be true. You can check out the latest automotive news in magazines and on TV shows, but as far as the reviews are concerned, you should only trust what you see with your own eyes. This may turn out to be a little difficult at times, but fortunately we live in the technology era, and seeing it for yourself is now possible on the internet. If a car reviewer speaks of some less appealing features of a certain automobile, there’s the chance of actually seeing them by means of multimedia. Criticism equals bad publicity, so when it comes to magazines or television shows, there’s a good chance that the consumer will be deprived of his right to be honestly and correctly informed. Therefore, the internet remains the most reliable source of both automotive news and automotive reviews.
